Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Lower Hut

August Preaching Series: Hope for a Wounded Victor

This August, as a parish, we are embarking on a journey through the bible looking at Sin, Seeds and our Saviour. Three sermons, starting on the 2 August, will lead us through this journey. We are also producing a small group or individual study booklet that you can pick up and use during this series. We are hoping that this will be a series that will encourage, challenge, teach us and ultimately lead us closer to Jesus.

Come along and join us at 8am, 9am or 10am during the first three weeks of August as we journey together!

Some of our services are live streamed. Check out our YouTube Channel

We seek to love and share Christ with others in the heart of the Hutt, and in the Hutt’s western hills. We are a friendly and accepting community where people of many nationalities and styles of worship find a place. Our Parish consists of two churches; St James’ in central Lower Hutt and All Saints’ in Belmont Domain, Lower Hutt.

Our church programmes are geared to all ages, from pre-school to the elderly, and we have a strong ministry to children, youth and families, including a chaplaincy service to Chilton St James School. Godly play has recently been introduced at our 10am Sunday service. Come with your children and explore faith through story and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play.

Join our men’s, women’s or youth groups, our youth or adult music groups, or one of our home groups. We aim to grow in the love and service of God and of others, and believe that we do that best in community.

We would love you to join us!
